Our academy offers a short course in Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) on the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Logan, Melbourne, Sunshine Coast, and Sydney. This course in hair reduction and skin rejuvenation is delivered over five full days and includes laser safety, theory knowledge on conditions you are able to treat, client consultation, test patch and treatment application using IPL and laser systems.Our training centre offers a mix of accredited and non accredited training in Laser Intense Pulsed light (IPL) and other light based technologies to suit individual needs.If you have a Diploma in Beauty Therapy, you will be able to progress to the Graduate Certificate in IPL and Laser hair reduction.Those with a lesser qualification (or none) are recommended to first complete a laser safety officer course that is provided at our training centre, to gain and understanding knowledge of laser and IPL safety, then complete either a five day or three day course in IPL hair and skin rejuvenation course.This course still offers the same high standard as the accredited courses and will allow the therapist to gain all knowledge required to perform these treatments safely and effectively and feel confident doing so.On completion of this course you will be able to make complete decisions about individual client treatment programs and work autonomously to provide those treatments. Our academy offers Laser Lipo Training on the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Logan, Sunshine Coast, and Sydney. The laser lipo machine emits low levels of laser energy which disrupts the fat cell membranes releasing intra-cellular fat.This causes the cell to lose its round shape by changing the permeability of the cell membranes. It does not affect the neighbouring structures such as skin, blood vessels and peripheral nerves. Triglycerides spill out from the broken cell membranes and are released into the interstitial space, where they are slowly transported through the body’s natural functions with no adverse physiological effects and are used by the body as an energy source. This mechanism of action is not ‘liquefaction’ of the fat cells (also referred to as lipolysis).The laser Lipolysis and Fat Cavitation is a combined course. Training for this course takes place at the academy centre.The classes are limited to small classes so that the trainee get the most possible out of the training. By ensuring that the classes are kept to a manageable size, we give you the best opportunity to soak in all the information available and ask as many questions as you need.
